One such experience I had in the North Pacific was a whale following us along, swimming at our speed, he stayed for quite a while, just checking us out. Not so much the hitting part, but being able to see magnificent animals like that while out on the sea. I have always been a huge animal lover, and things like that just make me go "WOW".
